Casa Isimuni is more than a sanctuary—it’s an extended family where every goat, sheep, pig, and barnyard animal is a unique individual, with their own story and personality. Each one arrived here to begin a new life, free from suffering. Through our sponsorship program, you can become an active part of this rebirth.
Sponsorship is a symbolic yet powerful act of love and support. You won’t bring the animal home with you, but you will become their special benefactor, directly contributing to their well-being: their food, veterinary care, and the upkeep of the spaces where they live free and happy. In return, you’ll receive updates, photos, and the immense joy of watching your friend thrive in a safe environment, even from afar.
Schools and Preschools: A unique educational project! Teaches children the value of respecting animals, responsibility, and the importance of caring for others. We can organize dedicated content, video calls, and materials to introduce the class to your sponsored animal's story.
Social Projects and Cooperatives: A therapeutic and inclusive activity that creates a deep emotional bond. Caring for a living being from a distance can be a powerful tool for personal growth and connection.
An Original and Meaningful Gift: Tired of the usual gifts? Give the gift of sponsorship! It’s a present full of meaning, speaking to love, respect, and generosity. For a birthday, anniversary, or Christmas, it will be an unforgettable gesture.
Companies that believe in CSR An authentic way to demonstrate your commitment to sustainability and well-being, aligning with values of ethics and social responsibility.
When you decide to sponsor one of our journey companions, you won't just be contributing to their care—you'll be joining our extended family. Depending on the package you choose, you’ll receive:
A personalized sponsorship certificate.
A detailed profile with a photo and the story of your animal.
Periodic email updates on your sponsored friend's progress and adventures.
The opportunity to visit them by appointment for an immersive nature experience.
From the wise Bart the pig to the energetic Saetta, from the sweetest Polpetta to the elegant Claudio, every sanctuary resident has a unique personality waiting to be discovered.
Join us on this path of Jivadana—generosity toward every living being. Your sponsorship is a fundamental piece in building a kinder world, where humans, animals, and nature live in harmony.

Let's give a warm welcome to our newest residents! They come to us from a beautiful mountain setting, where they were always cared for with love and dedication by their owner.
Unfortunately, an unforeseen circumstance forced a change: their family found themselves in the difficult position of having to choose between buying the land they lived on or finding them a new home. Unable to manage the expense, the most responsible and loving choice was to entrust them to the care of Casa Isimuni, to ensure they have a peaceful future.
They arrived here on August 12, 2025, and have successfully completed their quarantine period. This allowed us to monitor their health and let them settle in stress-free. The long-awaited moment is finally here: meeting the other sanctuary inhabitants!
They now share their space with their new group of friends, the Morning Stars, Bart, and Smoky. The integration is going wonderfully, full of curious sniffs and shy, first attempts at play. We are so happy to see them begin this new chapter of their lives.
We are a dynamic association founded with the goal of creating an environment where animals, humans, and nature can coexist in harmony.
Our name is inspired by the terms ISI and MUNI, which since ancient times—and still today—refer to sages, ascetics, and seers, figures who embody respect for life and the pursuit of balance with the world around them.
At the heart of our vision is the powerful Buddhist concept of JIVADANA, a principle that expresses generosity towards all forms of life, recognizing the value of every living being and the right of all to exist without suffering. This ideal guides us every day in the care of the animals we welcome, providing them with a safe place where they can live peacefully.
In our shelter, goats, sheep, and other animals from difficult backgrounds find a home. Our commitment is to provide them not only with food and care but also with adequate spaces and an environment where they can express their natural behaviors, free from fear and constraints.
We deeply believe in interspecies well-being, in the possibility of building a relationship based on mutual respect between humans, animals, and the planet that hosts us. Every living being is part of a greater balance, and its protection also involves safeguarding the environment around us. For this reason, we are committed to promoting sustainable practices, reducing our ecological impact, and spreading a culture of awareness and respect towards nature.
Our companions on this journey — Toni, Betta, Saetta, Orietta, Coca-Cola, Enzo, Claudio, Bart the pig, Smoky-boy, Polpetta, Skin, Sam, the Morning Stars, and all the birds — are an integral part of this reality. Each of them has a story, a character, and preferences, and for us, it is essential to respect them as unique individuals, offering them a life of dignity, free from exploitation.
ISIMUNI is more than just a shelter: it is a place where humans can rediscover an authentic relationship with other living beings and with the environment, without hierarchies or domination. Anyone who shares our vision is welcome to support us, get to know us, and be part of this journey towards a more conscious and sustainable coexistence.
On behalf of ourselves and all the inhabitants of the shelter, we wish you long life and prosperity!
1. Welcoming Skin: Welcome, Skin! 🐶🐑
We are delighted to welcome Skin into the big Isimuni family! This extraordinary shepherd dog has been donated to the shelter to help us with the grazing of our sheep and goats, carrying out with passion and dedication the work he was born to do. Thanks to his presence, our animals can move safely and live peacefully in the pastures.
A precious gift that provides great support to the shelter and stands as an example of harmony between humans, nature, and animals. 💛
2. Pasture Fence Reconstruction and Expansion Project
To ensure the well-being of our animals and a more sustainable resource management approach, we have launched a project to rebuild and expand the pasture fence. The new enclosure will be divided into sections, allowing for controlled pasture rotation, which will promote grass regrowth and provide more space for the animals.
This solution will not only improve the quality of life for our residents but will also allow us to harvest hay directly from our own land, significantly reducing annual purchasing costs. A crucial step toward making the shelter increasingly self-sufficient! 🐑🌱
3. Forest Area Cleanup Coming Soon.
With the arrival of spring, we will begin the cleanup work in the forested area that has been granted to us, where new trees will be planted. To facilitate the work, we will need a small tractor/ATV to transport the cut and collected wood, making operations in the forest more efficient.
These efforts will create a new safe grazing area for our animals, giving them more freedom and a larger environment to roam and feed. Another important step toward improving the shelter and enhancing the well-being of our residents! To facilitate the work, with generous support, we purchased a small ATV/tractor! 🌳🐑
4. PURCHASE NEIGHBORING FIELD FOR GRAZING 🐶🐑
We have the great opportunity and challenge to purchase the land that we currently lease for the animals to graze and exercise. The farmer who owns the adjacent field that we use wishes to sell this land.
If we are able to make this purchase, Casa Isimuni will have the chance to plan for future needs in new ways - and support our animals’ needs to graze. We have the chance to purchase this field over the next 5 years for a total purchase price of $35,000.
Together, with your support, we believe we can achieve this tremendous goal, before the deadline, with the help of monthly donations that begin with pledges today.
Would you like to pledge monthly support toward the land?
3 gifts of $100/month for the next 5 years - along with 3 gifts of $50/month for the next five years - and 5 gifts of $20/month, combined with 60 individual gifts of $50 spread out over this same period - will attain our goal - as an example.
We are seeking some combination of support such as this.
Will you consider a gift today? Pledges can be made to Lettie Haver via WhatsApp and gifts to @isimuni on PayPal.
Thank you for giving the gift of life today! 💛
